ACG International Training Grant Announcement
Application due March 31st
Message from Dr. Mitchell Mah’moud
As the co-chair of the ACG International Training Grant subcommittee and a member of the ACG International Relations Committee, I’d like to bring to your attention an exciting (and relatively easy) training grant opportunity. I say easy because thus far we haven’t received more than 10 applicants in any given year, so it is definitely a high yield application.
It is the ACG International Training Grant which provides up to $15,000 in funding to avail clinical training at a U.S. institution in particular to gain a new cognitive or technical skill. The application is due March 31st and also requires an application from the host institution and letters of recommendation. Kindly forward this information to a GI/Hepatology trainee in your program or to other directors in your region.
Please click this link for all of the information regarding the grant and application process https://gi.org/trainees/gi-training-grants/ and the committee members will be happy to help candidates who have questions or would like to brainstorm ideas about potential institutions.
